This blog is written by The Survivor.
Despite working to earn money from the age of nine years old, The Survivor entered adulthood with zero knowledge of personal finance. (Note to readers: The Survivor worked from such a young age, because The Survivor grew up poor.) It was a rocky start, learning how to be responsible.
The Survivor got an education in Economics and Finance. The Survivor worked in banking at Goldman Sachs and Citibank. The Survivor has seen how the sausages are made, and learned that most bankers do not know a thing about personal finance or care. Because a real banker lives off of salary and retires on bonuses and does not count on a 401K for anything.
The Survivor has learned much about money and investing and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Many much knowledge has been garnered.
